Gold Price Almost Above 1200’s Again! (Weekly Recap)

The gold price started the markets off right for 2017, closing at 1158.46 USD/oz on January 3rd, and hit a weekly high of 1179.87 USD/oz by Thursday, January 5th. Since then it has been a steady increase as it started off this week at 1180.90 USD/oz and hit above 1190 USD/oz by Wednesday this week. It seems that gold is recovering from a steady decline, and may hit above 1300 USD/oz once again. The gold price today is above 1198 USD/oz.
